2016/03/17: St. Patrick's Day Elections

Happy St. Patrick's Day and Congratulations to our new Association Chairman Mr. Jack Fagan!

Jack (John Francis Fagan III) was born in 1964 and lives in San Francisco, CA. Working in social services and advocacy for 30 years, he has served on nonprofit boards and manages social media for one of these. He has been actively researching his genealogy since high school in the 1970s. His Fagan ancestors emigrated from western Ireland to northern England in the mid-1800s before his great-grandfather settled in Scranton, PA at the age of 19 in 1909.

2015/08/25 Server Move

We've moved the website to a new host called GreenGeeks. The reason we moved was primarily due to old webhost not keeping up with security. GreenGeeks has some phenomenal technical support and top-notch security.

Plus, they have a "300% Renewable Energy Commitment." As stated on their website: "studies show that by 2005 the web hosting industry used as much energy to power their servers as the equivalent of 14 major power plants. Studies have shown that by the year 2020 that the web hosting industry will be as big of a polluter as the airline industry. Together we can curb that."

I like the fact that even though it may not be much, its something that ClanFagan.com can do to help curb pollution, and have a negative energy footprint.

2013/08/15: Back online!

If you have been to the website recently, you'll note that it has had a temporary page for awhile. This was due to someone having hacked the website, and me having far too little time as of late to fix things. Thanks to one of our members emailing me yesterday, I finally was able to get things going again (thank goodness for backups!)

Update 2014/08/31:

Once again... hacked. Back online. (you can't keep a good Irishman down!)

Update 2015/07/28:

Once again... hacked. Back online. I'll be changing this over to a new version of software with intrusion mitigation. The "old" site is back online - the "new" site will be online in a few weeks!
